Sam turned 4 on the first day of school, so this year we had his party a couple of weeks late, not that he minded any :)
Our big 1st Grader!
3rd Grade, here I come!
First day of pre-school!
Sam is
getting so big and he is completely, dangerously fearless. He's a
little mad man, which is appropriate, because we love him like mad.
Happy Birthday Sammy!
I couldn't resist adding this picture in after the giraffe photo bombed us this summer, it reminded me of feeding the giraffe at the Buffalo Park in Tupelo with Loretta and a very pregnant belly with my sweet Caroline.
We had another amazing time at the Cape again this year. Even more so than usual b/c we were able to stay two full weeks, in our own cottage steps from the beach AND best of all Mom, Dad and Paul were able to join us for most of it. Of course the kids cousins were there at the same time, walking distance, which made for many shared meals and even a sleepover. There was beach time every day but one I think, and a pirate ship ride, skim boarding, beautiful sunsets, mini golf and our first time in go-carts with the kids (Loretta drove her own car!). Fantastic weather, wonderful food, much ice-cream and even a few runs. But best of all was the time with family. My only wish would be that John hadn't had to work so much, be he drove down and spent every possible second with us. We are already excited for next year.
