Bye Bye Birdie

Loretta took on a new challenge this summer.  She spent two weeks of her summer at theater camp and had two parts in Bye Bye Birdie!  Loretta was the Mayor's wife and a dancing teenager.  We are so proud of her and she thoroughly enjoyed herself.  Wow, it brought back so many happy memories for me too.  While I wasn't in Bye Bye Birdie, I worked backstage on the makeup and it was a thrill.  I loved all of my theater activities and I so hope this is something she can enjoy throughout her life.  She shined like a star, nailed her lines (her mic wasn't working but you could still hear her loud and clear in the audience) and was just fantastic.
