Bicycle Firsts

Caroline predicted this was her day.  That it was going to be the best day ever and boy was she right!  Not only did our big girl learn to ride two wheels, her little brother did too!  Oh and dad made a new friend too.  All in all it was a pretty amazing day.

Parent Teacher Conferences

I love parent teacher conferences. Today we learned that Sam is 1/3 of a preschool gang, Caroline is a bubbly smart girl who is kind to everyone and Loretta is an over the top piece of work. Sounds about right to me . But in all seriousness the kids are all doing great and while we have some work to do we're all on the right track. Phew!

Soccer, soccer, more soccer and not a minute of free time

But loving it!  Another exciting soccer season was had by all.  Sam started soccer (but sadly played more like it was football, thinking about trying flag football in the winter), Caroline moved up to U8 and loved it and Loretta moved up to travel soccer.  Made our weekends more hectic, but also a lot of fun.  She's really loving soccer and she's a really good player.  Her team was undefeated going into their last game of the season which was tied right up until the end where Loretta's coach had her take a free kick which sailed over the other teams heads, beating the team 1-0 and helping her team remain undefeated for the season.  We are so proud of them all.
