"I do it by myself!" This is something we hear frequently these days from Sam. He is so determined to keep up with everyone else and practically fearless in the process. And when you have a least one fearless sibling who is 4 years older you can get into a lot of trouble. If I'm not careful he'd climb into the alligator enclosure at Southwicks Zoo. But, having two older sisters can sometimes hinder you as far as big boy activities which is why I think he soaked up every second of spending time with Alex and Devin.
He watched those boys like he was taking notes for future reference and nearly danced out of his pants waiting for a chance to give Alex's skateboard a try. He was so proud of himself too. As he gets bigger and tries more and more activities I can only hope to encourage him to stick to the sports that are less high contact. With his history of head injuries it's just a recipe for disaster.
